Analysing qualitative data using Microsoft Word…again!

I ran a workshop on analysing qualitative data using Microsoft Word at the PsyPAG conference in 2011.  The Qualitative Methods in Psychology Section (QMiP) of the British Psychological Society kindly sponsored the workshop.  In collaboration with attendees of the workshop, we are currently putting together a guide to using Microsoft Word for qualitative data analysis.  This should be available soon (our PhD’s are rightfully getting in the way).

In the meantime, I am running the workshop again at the University of Manchester Research Student Conference 2012 this week (2-3 August).   The conference is organised by the School of Education and will explore the impact of educational research methods on developing the postgraduate researcher.  If you are going to the conference and/or have signed up for the workshop, please say hello. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone.  The hashtag for the event is #RIManc12.

Slides from the previous workshop at PsyPAG2011 are available here.  Sharing is caring – the slides have been viewed 1,330 times…who knew there was so much demand for MS Word!

Latest slides from the workshop are now below.
